Northwestern University's DOLPHIN SHOW to Tour Bosnia and Herzegovina

Northwestern University's Dolphin Show, America's largest student-produced musical, is proud to announce that its 75th annual production, Little Shop of Horrors, will tour Bosnia and Herzegovina after a successful run in Cahn Auditorium this past January.  The tour is part of the U.S. Embassy to Bosnia and Herzegovina's cultural diplomacy program and will be the first production of this well-loved musical in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

BWW Review: Unsettling THE NETHER at The Gamm

THE NETHER, is a twisted look into a not-so-distant future where the internet becomes an immersive and physical experience. Unexpected reveals keep the plot moving, but the subject matter overall is uncomfortable to say the least. Playwright Jennifer Haley manages to avoid shock for the sake of shock, but this production certainly raises some thorny ethical dilemmas. Director Judith Swift manages to get a little close to taking things too far, but then pull back at the last second leaving the audience grappling with who the real monsters are.

Clare Barron's DANCE NATION Wins 2017 Susan Smith Blackburn Prize

The 2017 Susan Smith Blackburn Prize has been awarded to U.S. playwright Clare Barron for her play Dance Nation.  On March 6, New York's Playwrights Horizons hosted a ceremony honoring the winner and finalists of the prize and celebrating the 39th anniversary of the international prize, which is based in Houston.

Announcing The Gateway's 2017 Season!

The Gateway is thrilled to announce its 2017 Season! The Gateway's new season features five dazzling Broadway hits: RENT, Swing!, On the Town, Mamma Mia!, and Little Shop of Horrors. Cherry Lane Theatre Announces Casting For The Second Play Of The 2017 Mentor Project

Cherry Lane Theatre has announced casting for the second production of the Obie award-winning MENTOR PROJECT 2017 now in its 19th season. Nathan Yungerberg's ESAI'S TABLE, will be presented at Cherry Lane (38 Commerce St.) from March 22 - April 1, 2017, it has been announced by Seri Lawrence and Janio Marrero, MENTOR PROJECT's Producing Artistic Directors. Angelina Fiordellisi is Cherry Lane's Founding Artistic Director.

Cleveland Public Theatre presents TEST FLIGHT 2017

Cleveland Public Theatre (CPT) is proud to announce the Test Flight 2017 series. Test Flight is a multi-week series that showcases new work on its way to full production, providing both local and national/international artists with the keys to the theatre and the opportunity to co-produce original works-in-progress. Test Flight encourages risk-taking and an entrepreneurial spirit towards creating new work while offering artists a structured support system, activating an art-focused environment. CPT's New Play Development Program is intended to move projects forward, whether through full productions at CPT, receiving larger exposure or participating in touring performances or Fringe Festivals.

Rush Ticket Policy Will Continue Through Run SUNDAY IN THE PARK WITH GEORGE

Hot off last week's historic opening night, the producers of Sunday in the Park with George are pleased to announce the show will continue to offer a limited number of tickets $41 each, to celebrate the re-opening of Hudson Theatre as it becomes Broadway's 41st theater.  All $41 tickets will be available at Hudson Theatre box office (139-141 West 44th Street) on the day of the performance when the box office opens.

Red Carpet Roundup: Richard Ridge Chats Up the Stars at Opening Night of SUNDAY IN THE PARK WITH GEORGE

Academy Award nominee Jake Gyllenhaal (in his Broadway musical debut) and Tony Award winner Annaleigh Ashford lead the all-star cast of an extremely limited engagement of Stephen Sondheim and George Lapine's, 'Sunday in the Park with George'.
