Today the Donmar Warehouse announced the full cast of Fathers and Sons, by Brian Friel, after the novel by Ivan Turgenev. Directed by Olivier Award-winner Lyndsey Turner - who returns to the Donmar having previously directed Friel's Philadelphia, Here I Come! in 2012 - Turgenev's masterpiece reveals a new world in conflict with the old, the uneasiness of clashing generations and the difficulty of staying radical as you move through life.
Park Square's 15th Anniversary Production of THE DIARY OF ANNE FRANK to Reach 201,000 Audience Members

This spring marks the 15th anniversary production of The Diary of Anne Frank by Frances Goodrich and Albert Hackett at Park Square Theatre. When it closes on May 15, the production-the touching story of a brave young woman coming of age in hiding from the Nazis-will have played for 638 performances and inspired 201,000 audience members, including tens of thousands of students from all over Minnesota, Wisconsin and Iowa. The original Tony and Pulitzer Prize-winning Broadway production played for 717 performances. Julie Ann Nevill, who has played Mrs. Van Daan since the first curtain call, said 'This show has tremendous impact on our whole region with as many as 16,000 students seeing it every year - for most it's their first professional live theatre experience. Who wouldn't want to be part of that magic?'

Voting is now open for the next 2013 West End Frame Award, 'Best West End Debut'. Voting opened at 2pm on Friday 16th August and must close at 3pm on Thursday 29th August 2013. Nine actors who have made their West End debuts over the past year have been nominated.
Applications For Shakespeare Works Artist Residencies at The Public Now Available

The Public Theater (Artistic Director, Oskar Eustis; Executive Director, Patrick Willingham) and the Shakespeare Society (Artistic Director, Michael Sexton; Executive Director, Betsy Davidson Pickering) are now accepting applications for the 2013-2014Shakespeare Works Artist Residencies, part of the Shakespeare Society's Shakespeare Works program. The residencies will culminate in panel discussions about Shakespeare's plays, hosted by The Public Theater. The first two panel discussions will take place on Monday, September 30 and Monday, December 2 at 425 Lafayette Street.
AMC Orders TURN and HALT & CATCH FIRE with Lee Pace to Series

AMC announced today series orders for the scripted dramas 'Halt & Catch Fire' and 'Turn.' This is the first time the network has ordered two scripted series concurrently. Production on each is scheduled for 4th quarter 2013 with both expected to premiere on AMC in 2014.
