According to Coming Soon, the 11th season of The Walking Dead has officially been confirmed. Showrunner Angela Kang announced that it is expected to arrive in Fall 2020.

In the ten weeks leading up to the Season 10 premiere of The Walking Dead on Sunday, October 6 at 9pm ET/8pm CT, AMC will be revealing information on the new season each week across TWD social platforms – photos, videos, and never before seen content. 

AMC released today a series of new images from the highly-anticipated season nine opener of “The Walking Dead,” premiering Sunday, October 7 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jon Bernthal is set to return to THE WALKING DEAD for season 9. The news comes after Andrew Lincoln announced his exit from the AMC series a few weeks back. Bernthal is confirmed to return for an upcoming episode. He previously played cop Shane Walsh in the first and second season of the show. Read more about the news from The Hollywood Reporter here!

According to Entertainment Weekly, Andrew Lincoln, leading man of The Walking Dead since the start, is set to exit the series in the upcoming ninth season.
