Toronto (November 9, 2015) - Peggy Baker Dance Projects proudly announces the world premiere of Phase Space, a rich and surprising full-evening work choreographed by Peggy Baker, one of Canada's most acclaimed dance artists. Playing with time, memory and transformation, Phase Space features six extraordinary dancers in a surreal and elegant fusion of contemporary dance, live music, and stage design that runs January 22 -January 31, 2016 at Toronto's Betty Oliphant Theatre.

Today, April 29 is International Dance Day and to celebrate, Canadian dance icon Peggy Baker presents figures in motion - part lecture, part slide show - free for the public at the Betty Oliphant Theatre at 7:15pm. figures in motion is presented just prior to a performance of her first-ever full evening ensemble work, locus plot, which runs April 24-May 3 at the same location. In honour of International Dance Day, today's performance of locus plot will be pay-what-you-can at the door.

Legendary dance artist Peggy Baker deepens her artistry as an ensemble choreographer with this ambitious new show, her first full-length ensemble work in a rich and varied 40-year career previously dedicated to the creation and performance of solo works.  Check out a first look below!
