Now entering its 56th season, the New York Youth Symphony (NYYS) is launching a Musical Theater Composition (MTC) program, to be led by newly-appointed director Anna K. Jacobs. Mark Cortale's premiere season of the Broadway @ Dreamland concert series is set to welcome one of Broadway's favorite, and fastest-rising leading ladies to Nantucket next month. Megan Hilty, breakout star of NBC TV's "Smash" and Broadway's "Wicked" and a Tony nominee for the recent Broadway production of "Noises Off", makes her Nantucket debut on Wednesday, August 8 at 7:30 PM.

A few years ago BICK/ANTZIS created a YouTube video called Settle This Thing in order to have the Internet provide a solution to an ongoing argument they couldn't resolve on their own. Tamara Bick and Drew Antzis each laid out their argument and told viewers, "Vote for who you agree with and we'll live with the results." After a week the married couple tallied the votes and had a winner. Argument solved! "It's crowd sourcing to solve our fights," says Antzis, "and it worked!" The web series Settle This Thing was born.

Producer Mark Cortale has announced that his internationally acclaimed concert series will bring two of Broadway's leading ladies to Nantucket, Massachusetts' Dreamland Theater this summer with Broadway @ Dreamland. Christine Ebersole, a two-time Tony Award winner for "Grey Gardens" and "42nd Street" and star of Oscar-winning films such as "Amadeus" and "Tootsie," will perform on Monday, July 23 at 7:30 PM. Megan Hilty, breakout star of NBC TV's "Smash" and Broadway's "Wicked" and a Tony nominee for the recent Broadway production of "Noises Off", will join the series on Wednesday, August 8 at 7:30 PM.
