Mercury Theater Chicago, 3745 N Southport Ave., announces that The Hypocrites' production INTO THE WOODS, directed by Geoff Button* with Musical Direction by Matt Deitchman, has been extended through Saturday, April 5. This World Premiere by Brian Watkins is directed by Flea Resident Director Danya Taymor (I Hate Mexicans) and features members of The Bats, the resident acting company at The Flea.

2014-2015 at Children's Theatre Company is a season of dreams fulfilled. American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) at Harvard University has announced the return of the Chicago company The Hypocrites, with their mash-up of Shakespeare's Romeo Juliet and 12 Nights. Adapted and directed by Artistic Director Sean Graney, the two productions will play in repertory at OBERON, 2 Arrow Street, Cambridge. Both productions are appropriate to children over the age of ten.

At age 27, Christopher Massimine is the youngest theater executive to oversee the production activities within a major multi-million dollar theatrical organization. Previously holding the position of Marketing Communications Director at The National Yiddish Theatre - Folksbiene, he has now assumed the role as Producing Director where he will act as Supervising Producer on Folksbiene's forthcoming musical production LIES MY FATHER TOLD ME, a critical success in Canada making its American debut at Baruch Performing Arts Center on November 10 and running through December 15.
