Leapin' lizards! For the very first time, America's favorite red headed orphan will be gracing the stage at Flat Rock Playhouse in the Broadway hit sensation, Annie. Do not miss what is considered one of the best family musicals ever written, running June 9th through July 2nd on the Flat Rock Playhouse Mainstage located in the Village of Flat Rock.

It might be May, but Flat Rock Playhouse says it's time to pull out the tinsel, hang the mistletoe, and head South for the holidays!  The second of the extremely popular "Greater Tuna" series, a collection of comedic plays set in the fictional town of Tuna (the 3rd smallest town in Texas), A Tuna Christmas will return to the Playhouse Main Stage starring the hilarious Scott Treadway and his (or her) equally hilarious counterpart, Preston Dyar. Though seemingly a two-man show, there will be no lack of characters as these two gentlemen, who have separately been a part of several productions of the Tuna Series, will introduce audiences to over twenty of the town's most colorful characters together for the very FIRST time.  A Tuna Christmas will run on the Main Stage in the Village of Flat Rock from May 19th through June 3rd.

They say the neon lights are bright on Broadway -they say there's always magic in the air… And soon, there will surely be some of that Broadway magic gracing the Flat Rock Playhouse Mainstage, "mountain-style", with the return of the State Theatre's 2007 hit, Smokey Joe's Cafe!

The Stars aren't only out to play in February!  This April, Hendersonville's favorite non-profit focused competition returns with five brand-new, local celebrities signed on to Flat Rock Playhouse's third annual Theatre with the Stars! The State Theatre of North Carolina is excited to continue its tradition in this one-night only song, dance and theatre extravaganza in which local "stars" partner with Flat Rock Playhouse "pros" and compete with the hopes of raising the most votes to win the title, as well as $1000 for their selected non-profit of choice.

The Flat Rock Playhouse Downtown presents a three-part collaborative thriller from the 'master of suspense,' Vintage Hitchcock, A Live Radio Play by Joe Landry. Full of chilling drama that will leave you wanting to see more of Hitchcock, this production will be be one of the last of the 2016 season running from tonight, October 20th, through November 6th at the Flat Rock Playhouse Downtown Hendersonville.
