Photo Flash: First Look at VINTAGE HITCHCOCK, A LIVE RADIO PLAY at Flat Rock Playhouse

Calling all blondes, saboteurs, spies and everyone else that enjoys a good "whodunit!" The Flat Rock Playhouse Downtown presents a three-part collaborative thriller from the "master of suspense," Vintage Hitchcock, A Live Radio Play by Joe Landry. Full of chilling drama that will leave you wanting to see more of Hitchcock, this production will be be one of the last of the 2016 season running from tonight, October 20th, through November 6th at the Flat Rock Playhouse Downtown Hendersonville. BroadwayWorld has a first look at the cast in action below!

Taking the form of a radio show and featuring vintage commercials with the magic of live sound effects, this gripping production consists of three different classic Hitchcock dramas: The Lodger, Sabotage, and The 39 Steps. Complete with an unsuspecting serial killer, attempted terrorist attacks, and an international spy ring, it will let your imagination run wild. Written by Joe Landry, originator of It's a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play, Vintage Hitchcock, A Live Radio Play combines a number of Hitchcock's signature stories with that of the "golden age of entertainment."

Consisting of only 5 performers in true radio broadcast style, Vintage Hitchcock, A Live Radio Play stars Scott Treadway, Peter Thomasson, Paige Posey, Chris Allison and Maria Buchanan. These leading actors will create lifelike sound effects and transition into dozens of characters before your eyes without ever leaving the stage.

Vintage Hitchcock, A Live Radio Play is directed by David Hemsley Caldwell. Catori Swann will be Stage Manager with Amelia Driscoll as Assistant Stage Manager. Production Manager will be Adam Goodrum. Resident Scenic Designer is Dennis C. Maulden. Light, Sound, and Costume Designers are CJ Barnwell, Kurt Conway, and Ashli Arnold respectively. Paul Feraldi is designing the properties.

Vintage Hitchcock, A Live Radio Play will run from 20th October through 6th November at The Playhouse Downtown. Performances Thursdayevening at 7:30PM, Friday and Saturday evening at 8:00PM, matinees Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday at 2:00PM.
