On Monday, January 7, songwriting team Marcy Heisler and Zina Goldrich came together for the 13th Broadway at Birdland 'Marcy & Zina Show' musical extravaganza, co-starring their friends Scott Coulter, David Beach, Jill Abramovitz, Jennifer Jones, Christine Pedi and Noah Galvin. The Broadway at Birdland concert series has announced the return of The Marcy & Zina Show, featuring the dynamic theater songwriters, Marcy Heisler and Zina Goldrich, along with Scott Coulter and a cast of talented friends to sing their songs. The event will take place on Monday, January 7 at 7pm.

This week's 'episode' of Jim Caruso's Cast Party started off with a bang, as the National Yiddish Theater Company's cast of The Golden Land stormed the stage with two wonderful songs. Not to be outdone, Mira Awad came all the way from Israel to serenade the sold-out house with a song from her native land.

“We should not do a show more often,” quipped Ryan Silverman as he an Jill Paice took in the appreciative applause of the Town Hall audience before even singing a note of the Broadway musical they were expected to star in this season, Rebecca. Host Scott Siegel had just recapped the story of the show's numerous delays, fake investors, missing funds and the fact that an estimated 150 theatre professions had either turned down work or stopped seeking immediate employment because of their expectation to be working on Broadway by Christmas.
The Town Hall's Eighth Annual Broadway Cabaret Festival concludes with The Best of Broadway By The Year on Friday October 26th at 8pm. The festival kicked off with Linda Eder's, Linda Eder, A New Life on Saturday October 13 and continued with Broadway Originals! on Sunday October 21st.
