Met Opera Rising Stars, POTTED POTTER, Audra McDonald, Bela Fleck and More Set for NJPAC's 2014-15 Season

John Schreiber, NJPAC's President and CEO, and David Rodriguez, Executive Producer of the Arts Center, announced today a 2014-15 season packed with new, NJPAC- created, season-long series', collaborations with renowned artists and companies, an expansion of diverse programming, further integration of NJPAC's arts education programs within mainstage performances, and a continuation of the Arts Center's 17-year tradition of presenting world-class artists. With over 100 performances and special events announced for the acoustically superb 2,800- seat Prudential Hall, intimate 514-seat Victoria Theater, 250-seat Chase Room, and outdoors in Theater Square, by artists ranging from Patti LaBelle to The Metropolitan Opera Rising Stars; from Chris Botti to Potted Potter: The Unauthorized Harry Experience; from Golda's Balcony with Tovah Feldshuh to the Brick City Jazz Orchestra; from Bela Fleck to Lula Washington Dance Theatre; from Beres Hammond to Audra McDonald; and from The Second City to Dinosaur Train Live!, NJPAC's new season has something for everyone.

Tickets to Town Hall's 2014 Summer Season On Sale Tomorrow

Beginning Thursday, May 1, individual tickets go on sale for the The Town Hall 2014 Summer Season: Broadway Preludes, a trio of unforgettable one-night-only events featuring music from some of Broadway's most beloved songwriters, critically acclaimed musical performers, and fresh-faced talent on the brink of discovery.

Justin Daniel to Bring OFFICIALLY ALIVE to The Duplex, 4/21 & 28

After being developed at the 2013 Eugene O'Neill Cabaret Conference, Backstage Bistro award winner Justin Daniel returns to the NYC cabaret scene with his show officially alive. Performances are April 21 and 28, 7pm at the Duplex in NYC's Greenwich Village. $15 cover/2 drink minimum.

Tom Wopat and Stephen Schwartz to Join BROADWAY AT MOORLAND, 6/5; Brian Stokes Mitchell Leaves Lineup

Tony Award nominee Tom Wopat and GRAMMY Award-winning Broadway songwriter Stephen Schwartz are joining the festivities in Broadway at Moorland, the 14th annual summer concert and fireworks display at Moorland Farm in Far Hills, NJ, a partnership between New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) and Far Hills Race Meeting Association. Wopat (Annie Get Your Gun, A Catered Affair) will join previously announced Tony-nominated and Emmy Award-winner Liz Callaway, the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra, five-time MAC-winning cabaret star Scott Coulter, Jessica Hendy (Broadway's Cats and Aida), and Kelli Rabke (Broadway's LES MISERABLES and in the Broadway revival of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat). Due to a scheduling conflict, Brian Stokes Mitchell will no longer perform on the bill.

Carolyn Montgomery-Forant, Scott Coulter & More Set for BROADWAY BALLYHOO Tonight

Scott Siegel's Broadway Ballyhoo, which features an entirely different show with different stars every week, starts its 10th month at the Laurie Beechman Theatre with Nightlife Award winning stars Carolyn Montgomery-Forant and Scott Coulter, plus Nightlife star Shana Farr, as well as two Broadway Rising Stars, Paula Buresh and Jeanette Minson.

Manhattan Association of Cabarets and Clubs (MAC), dedicated to advancing the art and business of live entertainment, held their 28th Annual MAC Awards celebration last evening at BB King's Blues club in Times Square. Winners in twenty-five categories were announced. The show was hosted by the vivacious singer, band leader, multiple MAC Award winner and 2014 Nominee, Terese Genecco. The gala was produced by Julie Miller and directed by Lennie Watts, the current MAC President. Don Rebic served as Musical Director. Karen Akers, Jim Caruso & More Set for Nightlife Awards All-Star Fundraiser, 1/9

In an unusual development, an All-Star concert will take place on January 9th to help raise funds for another All-Star show that will take place just two-a-half weeks later. The first show, 'I Love The Nightlife' will be a 90 minute spectacular that will include a post show party. It will take place at 7 PM on Thursday, January 9th in the Jerry Orbach Theater at the Snapple Center on 50th Street and Broadway (upstairs where The Fantasticks has been playing).

Kenneth Gartman Hosts 'Open Mic Night' at Unity Center in Norwalk Tonight

There's a new Open Mic Night in town, and it's quite the place to be! Kenneth Gartman hosts the monthly Open Mic Night on the 3rd Saturday of every month at Unity Center in Norwalk, CT. The next concert is set for tonight, December 21 from 7 to 9 p.m. $10 cover. The Unity Center is located at 3 Main Street, 2nd Floor, Norwalk, Conn.
