Photo Flash: Stephen Wallem Plays Broadway at Birdland!

On Monday, January 21, Stephen Wallem, the actor/singer best known for his role as Thor on the Emmy-winning television series "Nurse Jackie" stormed the Broadway at Birdland stage with Schwartz And All, a musical tribute to composer Stephen Schwartz.
In the celebration of Schwartz, popular and obscure works from Godspell, Wicked, The Magic Show, Pippin, The Baker's Wife, Personals, "The Hunchback of Notre Dame" and Children of Eden were represented. Wallem was joined by musical director Beckie Menzie, Steve Millhouse on bass, Andy Jones on drums, and dancers Sarah Jenkins Briedis and Kelly Sheehan. Direction was by Tony Humrichouser, and choreography was by Kelli Barclay.
The house was packed with Wallem fans, including his "Nurse Jackie" co-stars Edie Falco and Dominic Fumusa, singers Natalie Douglas and Scott Coulter, Jane Blass from Annie and Matt Roush from TV Guide, playwright/"Nurse Jackie" writer Liz Flahive and Stephen's parents, who came from Rockford, Illinois to cheer!
