Roundabout Theatre Company has announced additional casting for The Real Thing, starring Ewan McGregor as 'Henry,' Maggie Gyllenhaal as 'Annie,' Cynthia Nixon as 'Charlotte' and Josh Hamilton as 'Max.' Tom Stoppard's Tony Award-winning play The Real Thing, directed by Sam Gold begins preview performances on Thursday, October 2, 2014 and opens officially on Thursday, October 30, 2014 at the American Airlines Theatre on Broadway (227 West 42ndStreet). Dorset Theatre Festival is thrilled to present Neil Simon's classic romantic comedy Barefoot in the Park as the third show in their summer season. 'This is a great comedy for our community. It's funny but it also has a lot of heart. It's romantic and appeals to audiences of all ages,' says Dina Janis, Artistic Director. The production will be directed by DTF resident director Jenn Thompson, co-Artistic Director of The Actors Company Theatre in NYC, and a local favorite for her past DTF productions, Noises Off and Boeing-Boeing.
