THINGS TO RUIN Returns to The Zipper Theatre Starting 1/9

Things To Ruin, the critically acclaimed, incendiary collection of songs by Joe Iconis will return to The Zipper Factory Theater (336 West 37th Street, between 8th and 9th Avenues) with weekly Friday night performances beginning Friday, January 9, 2009. The limited-performance, limited-engagement run is scheduled through Friday, February 27.

Stew, Parisse, Ikeda and Others To Join SPF Festival

The Summer Play Festival announces casting for the eagerly anticipated Summer Play Festival (SPF) now celebrating its fifth season in New York. Casts include Annie Golden, former lead singer for 'The Shirts' who has appeared in the movie HAIR; Marin Hinkle from CBS' TWO AND A HALF MEN; Annie Parisse from NBC's LAW & ORDER; Jenny Ikeda from MTC's acclaimed production of TOP GIRLS; and Dan Lauria from the long running series THE WONDER YEARS. Singer, songwriter and Tony Award winning Stew from the musical PASSING STRANGE will also be writing new music for one of the plays.

Sherlock Holmes' Early Years Discovered at NYMF 9/24

The New York Musical Theatre Festival and La Vie Productions proudly present Sherlock Holmes (The Early Years), a new musical comedy with music by Jared M. Dembowski, lyrics by Susannah Pearse and a book by Kate Ferguson and Robert Hudson. Sherlock Holmes (The Early Years) is directed by Nona Lloyd, has music supervision by Aaron Gandy.

Musicals Tonight continues its ongoing salute to Broadway's Standbys and Understudies with At This Performance…to be held on Sunday, May 15th at the 45th Street Theatre, 354 West 45th Street at 8 PM. This edition will be the final one for this theatrical season.
