Libra Theater Company will present Songs You Should Know, a concert of new and rarely performed songs by some of today's most prolific music theater writers. Hosted by Jeremy Morse (Drama Desk nominee, Bloodsong of Love) and Jennifer Ashley Tepper (If It Only Even Runs a Minute), Songs You Should Know includes new work from Brad Alexander Sam Carner and Derek Gregor, Joshua H. Cohen and Lavell Blackwell, Bobby Cronin, Adam Gwon, Caleb Hoyer, Joe Iconis, Russ Kaplan and Sara Wordsworth, Pete Mills, and Will Reynolds. The concert will feature performances by Anne Bobby, Alex Brightman, Sarah Corey, Scott Coulter, Matt Dengler, Katrina Rose Dideriksen, J. Austin Eyer, Melanie Field, Blair Goldberg, Jessica Grove, F. Michael Haynie, Jeremy Jordan, MK Lawson, Kevin Michael Murphy, and Jason "SweetTooth" Williams.

The play will be performed at ASF's intimate 263-seat Octagon stage. FESTIVAL THEATRE COMPANY is pleased to announce the world premiere production of Michael Walker's DANCING IN THE GARDEN, directed by Bruce Ward as part of the 15th annual New York International Fringe Festival - FringeNYC, August 12th-28th. On the eve of the opening of I Married Wyatt Earp, New York Theatre Barn will present A Celebration of Women Composers. The evening will benefit New York Theatre Barn and will feature songs by emerging songwriters Julia Meinwald (Pregnancy Pact), Zoe Sarnak (The Quad), Katya Stanislavskaya (Women on Love), and Shaina Taub (The Daughters).

As previously announced, New York Theatre Barn in collaboration with Prospect Theater Company will present the new all-female musical I Married Wyatt Earp at 59E59 Theaters May 20 - June 12, 2011. The production officially opens on Tuesday, May 24 and stars Heather Mac Rae (Falsettos, Hair, A Catered Affair) and Carolyn Mignini (Tintypes, Fiddler on the Roof).

A cabaret featuring new songs will be performed at 7:00 PM on Monday, February 28th, at Don't Tell Mama. The proceeds from the evening will go to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity fights AIDS.

On Monday, October 25th, New York Theatre Barn will present its monthly showcase for emerging writers and performers at the D-Lounge at the Daryl Roth Theater, which will feature the music of Timothy Huang and duo Eli Bolin and Sam Forman as well as performances from Broadway's Carly Jibson (Cry Baby, Hairspray) and Jared Gertner (Spelling Bee).
