Today, Tmapp, in association with CBO Entertainment, announced that the Equity Showcase production of FOR ALL MY GIRLS: A Musical Celebrating the 'Everyday Diva,' has changed venues. Beginning Friday, December 9, 2016, the musical will play MIST Harlem (www.mistharlem.com), uptown's premiere live performance and special event venue through December 20, 2016.

The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, a delightful family story about the true meaning of Christmas, will open at the Lakewood Theatre Company on Thursday, December 15 at 7:30 PM. Performances continue on December 16, 17,18,19, 20, 21, 22 and 23 at 7:30 PM. There will also be matinee performances at 2:00 PM on Saturday Dec. 17 and Sunday Dec. 18. After the opening night performance on December 15th, there will be a hot cocoa and cookie reception.

Musical Theater Heritage will enters the foray of original new work by presenting a concert style reading of Michael Finke's new musical, HURRICANE. MTH is bringing the composer in from New York and will spend the week fine-tuning the new musical culminating with a free public reading on Sunday, June 26 at 8pm.

Nine of the finest voices in Kansas City Theater made their way to the stage of the Off Center Theatre on September 8 to appear on Musical Monday and presented the audience with a night that will not be forgotten. Musical Monday began with only a handful of entertainers, Tim Scott, Jeremy Watson, and Chad Gerlt among a few others, with no microphones performing for a small audience. On August 17 Cynthia Levin was honored by the Unicorn Theatre when the Main Stage was renamed the Levin Stage by the Board of Directors and the staff. On Saturday night September 6 the now Levin Stage was christened with one of the best performances to be presented in the 41 seasons of the Unicorn Theatre. Hands on a Hardbody opened the 41st season for the Unicorn with a marvelous production directed by Missy Koonce, with musical direction by Angie Benson and choreography by Christina Burton.
