Carrie Ann Inaba made her official debut today on THE TALK, joining Eve, Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne and Sheryl Underwood. Inaba replaces Julie Chen, the wife of ousted CBS CEO Les Moonves.
Variety reports that Carrie Ann Inaba will assume Julie Chen's chair on “The Talk.” She will join the show in January.

She thinks her segment is about her prom story that made national news, but gets a big surprise when DeVito enters the stage to meet her in person. “I think this was my first prom and thank you very much for inviting me,” DeVito tells Closs. Sharon Osbourne asks her, “What is it like to meet the real Danny DeVito?” Closs replies, “Amazing, fantastic! I never expected…as a little joke, taking a little cardboard cut out to prom, that it would lead to this!”
