GLAAD, the world's largest lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) media advocacy organization, announced today the nominees for the 30th Annual GLAAD Media Awards live from the Sundance Film Festival. The 30th Annual GLAAD Media Awards are presented by Delta Air Lines, Gilead, and Ketel One Family-Made Vodka.

Christopher Meloni (Happy!, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit) and Elizabeth Reaser (The Haunting of Hill House) have been cast as Commander Winslow and Mrs. Winslow in The Handmaid's Tale, which airs on Hulu and is currently in production on its third season.

Williamstown Theatre Festival has announced that the annual WTF Gala will include special appearances by Eden Espinosa (WTF's Lempicka, Wicked), Tony Award nominee Jessica Hecht (WTF's The Closet, "Friends"), and 2018 Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Martyna Majok (WTF's Cost of Living).

RYAN HANSEN SOLVES CRIMES ON TELEVISION*,  a meta comedy skewering Hollywood and police procedurals, returns for Season 2 on January 30, 2019 on YouTube Premium.  The show stars Hansen, as a ridiculous version of himself, who joins an LAPD task force partnering actors with homicide detectives so they can use their “actor skills” to help solve murders. In Season 2, Ryan's back, but after Detective Mathers, Ryan's partner from the first season (Samira Wiley), gets sidelined, rogue cop Vince Vincente (Avon Barksdale Wood Harris) steps in as Ryan's new partner. Together the two will have to buddy up to solve an array of puzzling crimes.

The world premiere of The Lifespan of a Fact officially opened on Broadway last night, October 18 at Studio 54 (254 West 54th Street). BroadwayWorld was there, and you can check out photos from the red carpet below!

Atlantic Theater Company stages the world premiere production of Fireflies, written by Donja R. Love and directed by Saheem Ali. Fireflies is the second part of Donja R. Love's trilogy, which began with the acclaimed play Sugar in Our Wounds, also directed by Saheem Ali. Fireflies just opened last night, October 15th for a limited engagement through Sunday, November 11th, 2018 Off-Broadway at the Linda Gross Theater (336 West 20th Street).

The “emotional yet soaringly beautiful” (Daniel Feinberg, The Hollywood Reporter) second season of “The Handmaid's Tale” comes to Blu-ray and DVD December 4th from MGM Television and Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment. The 4-disc set includes all 13 heart-stopping episodes,  as well as two brand new featurettes that take the viewers beyond the pages of Margaret Atwood's award-winning, best-selling novel.
