The Old Vic to Present THE MISSING LIGHT Puppetry Show for Kids This Spring

As part of its programme for families, The Old Vic will present The Missing Light, an enchanting puppetry show for ages 7+ about hopes, dreams and true friendship, created by Mark Arends for Make Mend and Do. The production will run for 12 performances only, 23 Mar - 4 Apr 2017.

The Queen Meets Joey From WAR HORSE!

Joey, the life size puppet horse and star of the National Theatre's record breaking production of War Horse which is running at the New London Theatre in the West End, made a special appearance at official opening of The School of Veterinary Medicine, University of Surrey on Thursday in the presences of HM The Queen and HRH The Duke of Edinburgh.

Photos and Video: Chris Pratt Named Hasty Pudding Theatricals' 2015 Man of the Year

The Hasty Pudding Theatricals, the oldest theatrical organization in the United States, celebrated Chris Pratt as the recipient of its 2015 Man of the Year Award. The Pudding is excited to honor a performer who became a bona fide Hollywood heavyweight in the past year. Pratt joined his Parks & Recreation co-star Amy Poehler, who was feted on January 29 as the Hasty Pudding's 2015 Woman of the Year. Photo Flash: WAR HORSE's Joey and Author Michael Morpurgo at the Tower of London

Yesterday (Sunday 19 October 2014), best-selling author Michael Morpurgo was joined by Joey, the life-size horse puppet and star of the National Theatre's production of War Horse visiting the poppies installation at the Tower of London. Joey walked amongst the poppies and Michael Morpurgo planted a poppy and then returned to read the Roll of Honour. The puppeteers were Sam Clark (Joey Head), Robin Guiver (Joey Heart) and Derek Arnold (Joey Hind). Scroll down for photos!

Dixon Place is proud the HOT! serves as the model for other queer festivals across the globe and has become a performance destination for emerging talent in the LGBTQ community. This year's HOT!, featuring hundreds of participating artists presenting their newest creations, will run July 5th through August 2nd at Dixon Place, located at 161A Chrystie Street in New York City.

Maloof Money Cup World Skateboarding Championship Rolls into Cinemas Today, 10/2

The Maloof Money Cup will be broadcast to movie theaters nationwide for the first time with the "Maloof Money Cup World Skateboarding Championship Event" tonight, October 2 at 7:30 p.m. local time. Showcasing the World Skateboarding Championship pro street finals from South Africa, this in-theater event features competition highlights, behind-the-scenes footage and up-close action that will take fans on an exciting, big-screen ride with the competitors. This special event will also include never-before-seen Money Cup highlights, jaw-dropping tricks and exclusive interviews. The event pre-show will also announce three amateur skateboard winners, chosen out of thousands, who submitted home videos of personal best tricks during the Best Trick Big Screen online contest.

Photo Flash: First Look at New Cast of WAR HORSE at New London Theatre

Now in its fourth year in the West End, Nick Stafford's adaptation of Michael Morpurgo's book has been playing to sell-out houses at the New London Theatre since March 2009. The Broadway production of War Horse, which continues its run at the Lincoln Center's Vivien Beaumont Theatre, was the winner of six Tony Awards including a Special Tony Award for Handspring Puppet Company. In February of this year War Horse opened to great critical acclaim at The Princess of Wales Theatre, Toronto. War Horse premiered at The National Theatre in October 2007.

WAR HORSE Extends Booking Period to October 26

Today, 23 March 2012, the National Theatre's internationally award-winning production of War Horse releases over 250,000 new tickets for sale, taking bookings at the New London Theatre to 26 October 2013.
