54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, presents Ilene, Randy, and Todd Graff, and Nikka Graff Lanzarone in "The Graff Family Holiday Special," on Saturday, December 14th at 11 P.M., and in a sold out show on Monday, December 16, 2013 at 7 P.M. Balagan Theatre continues their effort to get new musicals a place to be heard with their New Works Summer Series and their offering of the new musical “Island Song”, a show exploring the lives of the young and ambitious in a city that can at the same time foster and crush such ambition.
The evening was hosted by Andrew Kober and Danielle Wade. Andrew Kober made his Broadway debut in the 2009 Tony Award winning revival of Hair after originating the roles of Father and Margaret Mead in the Shakespeare in the Park production. He also played the roles in the West End revival in 2010. He has also appeared on television in 'Boardwalk Empire,' 'Pan Am' and 'House of Cards.'
Tonight, August 5th at 8pm, Sam Carner and Derek Gregor's Barely Legal Showtune Extravaganza V will play (le) Poisson Rouge (158 Bleecker Street). This marks the fifth installment of the four-?time sold-?out concert series by the Richard Rodgers Award winning composers.
Carner and Gregor have announced the winners of the BARELY LEGAL SHOWTUNE EXTRAVAGANZA V casting contest. Eight winners were selected from over 100 submissions received from college students around the country. Winners were selected by a four-person judging panel comprised of Casting Directors Michael Cassara and Jason Najjoum, Concert Director Marlo Hunter, and Concert Producer Alina Gutierrez. Carner and Gregor were not involved in the judging process. After four sold-out editions, Carner & Gregor's BARELY LEGAL SHOWTUNE EXTRAVAGANZA is back for its fifth year. The concert will take place Today, August 5th at (le) Poisson Rouge. Showtime is 8PM. Doors open at 7PM.

Performances began June 16, 2013 at The Duke on 42nd Street, a New 42nd Street project. Prospect Theater Company presents its annual gala, 2013's Spring Soiree, in the Harbor View Room at Battery Gardens, a beautiful and unique waterside location nestled at the southernmost corner of Battery Park. This special one-night only event will be held on Monday, May 6 from 6pm - 10:30pm, with an 8pm concert performance, to feature performances by Broadway friends as well as Prospect stars! Guests will be treated to a sneak peek of songs from upcoming 2013 - 2014 Prospect productions, as well as encore performances from previous Prospect shows. The evening's line up of writers includes work by Sam Carner and Derek Gregor, Marisa Michelson and Joshua H. Cohen, Peter Mills, and Ryan Scott Oliver, among others.

Mama and Her Boys will conclude its run at the Underground Theatre on May 6 when the original stars/creators, Ethan Paulini, Christopher Sidoli and Wendy Watson's initial contracts expire. The show began previews on February 18 and opened February 25. At the time of closing, the new Off-Broadway musical will have played 3 previews and 28 regular performances.
