The York Theatre Company has announced the line-up for its 49th anniversary season at The York Theatre at Saint Peter's.

Encores! will present Me and My Girl as the final production of the Encores! at 25 season at New York City Center. Me and My Girl, the first Encores! production originally written and produced in London's West End, will star Christian Borle, Bill Buell, Chuck Cooper, Suzzanne Douglas, Mark Evans, Harriet Harris, JohnHorton, Simon Jones, Laura Michelle Kelly, Lisa O'Hare, Don Stephenson. STREEPSHOW!, written by Jay Stull, and directed by Andrew Neisler for The Tank's Save & Print series opens at the Connelly Theater (220 East 4th Street, between Avenues A & B). STREEPSHOW! is the true story of 14 characters once played by Meryl Streep, picked to live in a house, and have their lives filmed to find out what happens when people stop being, oh I don't know, direct and start getting, well, breathy. The Tank will present STREEPSHOW!, written by Jay Stull, and directed by Andrew Neisler. Part of The Tank's Save & Print series, STREEPSHOW! begins performances on Friday, June 2 for a limited engagement through Saturday, June 24.

Symphony Space, the performing arts center known for its original music, film, dance, and literary programs, will honor Theodore S. Chapin and Lenore & Robert Davis at the 2017 Spring Gala at Capitale on Monday, April 24, 2017.

At the 32nd Bistro Awards on March 13, produced by Sherry Eaker, attendees hunkered down at Gotham Comedy Club in the hours before a blizzard hit Manhattan to honor the best in the year's cabaret, comedy and jazz performances. Of course, the prospect of a little snow wouldn't deter honorees from coming out, though it did slightly impact the order of the evening's events, shifting the 'grand finale' to the 'grand opening.'
