Musical MIDNIGHT AT THE NEVER GET Returns To Provincetown At The Art House

Producer Mark Cortale has announced that Midnight At The Never Get, a hit new musical produced at the Provincetown Inn last summer, will return to P-Town at The Art House for a limited run from September 6 - 8. The musical stars Mark Sonnenblick & Sam Bolen, with Book, Music & Lyrics by Mr. Sonnenblick, co-conceived by Mr. Bolen. The show directed by Max Friedman will have it's Off-Broadway premiere this October at The York Theatre co-produced by Cortale and Visceral Entertainment. For Tickets and information, visit www.ptownarthouse.com or call 800-838-3006.

Midnight At The Never Get features a book and a sultry score by Mark Sonnenblick (2018 Recipient of Jonathan Larson Grant) fashioned after the American Songbook, and imagines two men who never existed at a time that very much did. Trevor Copeland and Arthur Brightman have the perfect New York romance. That's swell - but in 1965 it's also against the law. So in the back room of The Never Get, an illegal Greenwich Village gay bar, they put together a show called "Midnight," a queer nightclub act where Arthur writes love songs for Trevor to sing to a man. But as they hurtle towards the end of the decade and tensions in the Village reach a breaking point, the lovers find themselves caught in a relationship they cant control and a movement they don't understand.

The 2018 Art House and Town Hall season produced by Mark Cortale is sponsored by:

Cape Air, Anchor Inn Beach House, Ptown Bikes, and Provincetown Gym.
