Broadway and Off-Broadway producer Ken Davenport (author of the popular blog, The Producer's Perspective) will present Joe Slabe's Jeremy de Bergerac as the tenth selection in THE DAVENPORT DEVELOPMENTAL READING SERIES, for readings of new works (plays and/or musicals), tonight, August 6th at the Davenport Studio (250 West 49th Street, Suite 304, NYC). Jeremy de Bergerac is directed by Ed Sylvanus Iskandar. The performance will be at 8:00pm followed by a talk-back with the writer.

The New Group has announced complete casting for Francine Volpe's suspenseful drama The Good Mother. Darren Goldstein, Alfredo Narciso, Eric Nelsen and Bill Sage join Gretchen Mol (previously announced) in this world premiere directed by Scott Elliott. Previews for the play, which launches The New Group's 2012-13 season, begin October 29 in advance of an Official Opening Night on Thursday, November 15.
