Broadway and Off-Broadway producer Ken Davenport (author of the popular blog, The Producer's Perspective) will present Joe Slabe's Jeremy de Bergerac as the tenth selection in THE DAVENPORT DEVELOPMENTAL READING SERIES, for readings of new works (plays and/or musicals), on Monday, August 6th at the Davenport Studio (250 West 49th Street, Suite 304, NYC). Jeremy de Bergerac is directed by Ed Sylvanus Iskandar. The performance will be at 8:00pm followed by a talk-back with the writer. To RSVP, follow this link.

What happens when the boys of St. Mark’s and the girls of St. Anne’s team up to present a classic French tale of love and intrigue? Cyrano de Bergerac leaps from the page to the stage… to the hearts of both under-age and sage. Love blossoms, jealousies flare, secrets abound, and everyone gets an education beyond what they’d bargained for. Jeremy de Bergerac is a testament to the transformative powers of great art and youthful passion.

Jeremy de Bergerac is the tenth presentation in the Davenport Developmental Reading Series. The series takes place every four months and highlights new plays or musicals from exciting up-and-coming writers. Information regarding submissions can be found at www.DavenportTheatrical.com.
