Jaime Cepero, the star of season one of NBC's hit TV show SMASH, has joined the cast of David Davila's 52 SONGS: Abridged! tonight, Sept 5th at the Laurie Beechman Theatre. Also joining the cast are Desi Oakley (Annie), and Lacey Angerosa (The Addams Family).
Kimmel Center Completes Dorrance H. Hamilton Rooftop Garden Renovation

After a year-long renovation, the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts reopens The Dorrance H. Hamilton Rooftop Garden to the public on September 4, 2012. The state-of-the-art rooftop garden renovation cost $5.7 million, and will be open to the public daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. with free public tours available when the garden is not being used for private functions.

Originally initiated as part of the Cultural Olympiad, the programme represents the largest ever series of commissions to disabled and deaf artists and celebrates their work on an unprecedented scale across the UK.

Lynn Sage Cancer Research Foundation (LSCRF) today named model, movie star, TV actress, Broadway performer and bestselling author Brooke Shields as the newly-named Guest Speaker at its Annual Fall Benefit Luncheon on Wednesday, October 17th beginning at 11 a.m. at the Hilton Chicago, 720 South Michigan Ave. (Diane Keaton, who was originally scheduled, cancelled due to a new movie commitment). Proceeds will support innovative contributions to breast cancer research and educational programs, as well as fellowships, at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University.
