Robert Forster Stars in THE BIG TAKE Coming to Digital and DVD This September

It's murder to make a movie in the Hollywood crime-thriller THE BIG TAKE, available on DVD and DigitalSeptember 4 by Archstone Distribution via Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. Academy Award® nominee Robert Forster (Best Supporting Actor, Jackie Brown, 1997), James McCaffrey (Netflix's “Jessica Jones”), Ebon Moss-Bachrach (Netflix's “The Punisher”) Zoë Bell (The Hateful Eight), Bill Sage (TV's “Power”) and Dan Hedaya (The Usual Suspects) star in this comedic and suspenseful caper about a blackmailed movie star and an aspiring screenwriter looking for his big break whose lives become intertwined following a deadly case of mistaken identity. The film marks Justin Daly's writing and directorial debut, previously working behind-the-scenes on such movies as the action classic Taken (2008) and the hit indie comedy Big Night (1996). THE BIG TAKE is the perfect entertainment for thriller fans looking for big laughs and even bigger thrills this September.

On June 15, 2018, Sing For Your Seniors hosted the latest in its series of Broadway Sessions with cast members from "Beautiful: The Carole King Musical" at the Edie Windsor SAGE Center in Chelsea as part of Pride Month. SAGE is the country's largest and oldest organization dedicated to improving the lives of LGBT older adults. The musical performance included songs of the performers' choosing as well of songs from "Beautiful." The audience enjoyed a one-hour session, as well as a meet-and-greet visit with the cast following the performance.

American Documentary Launches Artist Emergency Fund

American Documentary (AmDoc), the producing company of the PBS series POV, launched the Artist Emergency (AE) Fund today, aimed at providing emergency financial assistance to filmmakers facing unexpected and substantial personal, health or property needs or losses including those caused by accidents or natural disasters.   To date, this is the first fund of its kind dedicated to supporting nonfiction filmmakers.
