The first national tour of Priscilla Queen of the Desert The Musical is coming to the Fabulous Fox Theatre in St. Louis, MO, from January 29 through February 10.

Priscilla Queen of the Desert The Musical, the outrageously fun show about three friends on the roadtrip of a lifetime, will make its national tour debut at Hennepin Theatre Trust's Orpheum Theatre, January 8-13, 2013. Called a "rollicking crowd-pleaser in sequins" by Variety, this international hit with more than 500 2011 Tony Award-winning costumes features a parade of dance floor favorites including "It's Raining Men," "Finally" and "I Will Survive." Troika Entertainment has just announced the cast for the first national tour of the international hit, Priscilla Queen of the Desert The Musical. Priscilla Queen of the Desert The Musical launches its national tour on January 8 in Minneapolis, MN at the Orpheum Theatre.

"The Christmas Schooner" has been performed in the Chicago area every year, except for one, since 1995. And yet, I know for a fact that new theatergoers are discovering it all the time. Hence, it's a good thing that the Mercury Theater on Southport Avenue has mounted this story--based on a real slice of Chicago history--for the second year, and has already announced it for next year as well. It's one of the most popular musicals across the country to originate in Chicago, and we are proud to call it our own.

THE CHRISTMAS SCHOONER returns to the Mercury Theater (3745 N. Southport, Chicago), now through December 30, 2012. The whole family will enjoy this heart-warming story of the first Christmas tree ship and the family who risked their lives to fill Chicago with the Christmas spirit. This critically acclaimed production features a powerful, moving story, an exquisite score of original music and traditional holiday favorites, and a company of 25 actors and musicians. The Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum, along with the City of New York and the United States Navy, celebrates the 25th annual Fleet Week, now through May 28, 2012. Fleet Week is America's premier tribute and "thank you" to the men and women who serve in the armed forces. Yesterday, July 26 at 4:00pm the stars of Broadway's new Tony Award® winning musical PRISCILLA QUEEN OF THE DESERT, perform some of the show's classic dance floor hits at a special live performance at The Apple Store in SoHo.

The City of New York and the United States Navy and Fleet Week Committee are celebrating the 24th annual Fleet Week, going on through May 30, 2011. Fleet Week is America's premier tribute and 'thank you' to the men and women who serve in the armed forces. This year's festivities were hosted by Tony winner Gregory Jbara. On Friday, May 27, cast members from current Broadway shows PRISCILLA QUEEN OF THE DESERT, ANYTHING GOES, JERSEY BOYS, CHICAGO, MAMMA MIA and ROCK OF AGES performed and BroadwayWorld was on the scene to bring you photo coverage from the performances below!
