Aurora Theatre Company continues its 19th season with the Bay Area Premiere of acclaimed writer and actor David Cale's new solo play PALOMINO. The San Francisco Chronicle declared Cale 'a spellbinder,' noting that as 'fascinating as he is to watch, and exquisite as his verbal imagery can be, it is Cale's gifts as a storyteller that hold an audience rapt.' Written, directed, and starring David Cale, PALOMINO plays October 29 through December 5 at the Aurora Theatre in Berkeley. FUERZA BRUTA: LOOK UP will host three 'Girls Night Out' performances on October 21, November 18 and December 16 at 8pm, at the Daryl Roth Theatre. In a unique twist, this GIRLS NIGHT OUT features the men of FUERZA BRUTA at the center of the action in one of the show's signature scenes - a mylar pool suspended just inches above the audience.

Carey Mulligan in Talks to Join Ryan Gosling in 'Drive' Film

British actress Carey Mulligan is in negotiations to star in the action thriller Drive, according to The Hollywood Reporter. If cast, the Education star will join Ryan Gosling, who's already attached to the project. Breaking Bad's Bryan Cranston is also said to be in negotiations to join the cast.

Marisa Tomei and musician Josh Groban have joined the cast of the Steve Carell-Ryan Gosling marital crisis comedy for Warner Bros, according to Variety. The new film will be directed by John Requa and Glenn Ficarra, and features a screenplay by Dan Fogelman.

Kevin Bacon will join Steve Carell in an untitled Dan Fogelman-Steve Carell project, according to The Hollywood Reporter. John Requa and Glenn Ficarra will direct the movie for Warner Bros. Filming will begin in late April.
