Shrek cast members scheduled to perform include Tony nominees Brian D'Arcy James and John Tartaglia alongside Ben Crawford, Ryan Duncan, Dennis Stowe, Heather Janes Rolff, Haven Burton, Denny Pashcall, Colleen Hawks, Jacob Ming Trent, Danette Holden and Greg Reuter who will also serve as co-host for the evening.

Yesterday March 26th, Tim Federle, author of Better Nate Than Ever, interviewed the 19 year old author, Henry Hodges, who wrote 'How To Act Like a Kid,' at the Drama Book Shop. Amas Musical Theatre (Donna Trinkoff, Artistic Producer) will present three FREE staged readings of Distant Thunder, a new musical with music and lyrics by Chris Wiseman and Shaun Taylor-Corbett, book by Lynne Taylor-Corbett and Shaun Taylor-Corbett, additional music and lyrics by Robert Nassif Lindsey, directed by Lynne Taylor-Corbett. The readings will take place on Thursday, February 28th at 4:00pm, and Friday, March 1st at 1:00pm and 4:00pm at The Players Theatre, 115 MacDougal Street.

BROADWAY SESSIONS is described as an evening of musical performances, games and open mic featuring a new Broadway guest each week. The show is created and hosted by Ben Cameron (Bway Wicked, Aida and Footloose) and features musical director Joshua Stephen Kartes on piano. This Tuesday, January 29th, Broadway Sessions will celebrate the birthday of theatrical manager Michael Einfeld with a special concert featuring performances from his clients and friends.

Coyote REP has announced that RATED M FOR MATURE by Greg Ayers, a play that was featured in Coyote REP's 2010 Works-in-Development Series, will now be featured in The New York International Fringe Festival's Encore Series! After a successful run in this year's FringeNYC, Rated M for Mature was selected from among nearly 200 FringeNYC productions to move into the SoHo Playhouse for Encores. This special honor gives the production an extension of five more performances, starting Monday, September 10th.
