Steppenwolf Theatre Company begins performances for Garage Rep 2015 on February 20, 2015, which features Cold Basement Dramatics' production of Heat Wave, Pride Films and Plays' production of Angry Fags and Red Tape Theatre's production of The Walk Across America for Mother Earth. These innovative storefront companies will perform in rotating repertory under Steppenwolf's banner for ten weeks.

Casting has been completed for Red Tape Theatre's (RTT) upcoming Chicago Premiere of The Walk Across America for Mother Earth. Peculiar Works Project has announced the world premiere of their next site-specific theatrical event, 3CHRISTS, written by SM Dale & Barry Rowell, and directed by Kelly O'Donnell. Based on The Three Christs of Ypsilanti, a psychological study by Milton Rokeach, 3CHRISTS will be performed in the sanctuary of Judson Memorial Church (55 Washington Square South, at Thompson St.). Performances begin on Friday, September 5 for a limited engagement through Sunday, September 28. Opening Night is Sunday, September 7 at 7 PM. The performance schedule is Thursday - Sunday at 7 PM. Sundance Institute and the LUMA Foundation today announced that the two organizations will again collaborate to host the second Sundance Institute | LUMA Foundation Theatre Directors Retreat in Arles, France, July 29 through August 11. The Retreat is one of 10 residential programs hosted by Sundance Institute this summer, collectively representing 15 weeks of support and mentorship for promising independent artists in theatre and film from the United States and around the world.
