59E59 Theaters has announced the line-up for the this year's Brits Off Broadway festival, the critically acclaimed annual festival of New British Theater. Now in its 12th Season, the 2016 Brits Off Broadway festival kicks off on Tuesday, April 19 and runs through Sunday, July 3.  Single ticket prices range from $25 - $70 ($17.50 - $49 for 59E59 Members). Tickets to Brits Off Broadway go on sale to the general public on March 7, with an exclusive pre-sale for 59E59 Members beginning on March 1. This summer Alan Ayckbourn is reviving his 1974 play Confusions for the first time to mark the Stephen Joseph Theatre's 60th anniversary. Confusions premiered at the company's first home, the Library Theatre, Scarborough and has since become one of the most popular and studied new plays of the last 40 years. Ayckbourn Ensemble to Present Three Plays in Rep at Brits Off Broadway

59E59 Theaters will welcome the Stephen Joseph Theatre back to Brits Off Broadway with the US premieres of ARRIVALS AND DEPARTURES, TIME OF MY LIFE, and FARCICALS: A Double Bill of Frivolous Comedies, written and directed by Alan Ayckbourn. ARRIVALS AND DEPARTURES begins performances on Thursday, May 29 (Opening Night is Wednesday, June 4 at 7:00 PM). TIME OF MY LIFE begins performances on Friday, June 6 (Opening Night is Wednesday, June 11 at 7:00 PM). FARCICALS: A Double Bill of Frivolous Comedies begins performances on Saturday, June 7 (Opening Night is Tuesday, June 10 at 7:00 PM). All shows run through Sunday, June 29. The performance schedule varies. Please see attached calendar for the individual show schedules. Single tickets for ARRIVALS AND DEPARTURES and TIME OF MY LIFE are $70 ($49 for 59E59 Members). Single tickets to FARCICALS: A Double Bill of Frivolous Comedies are $50 ($35 for 59E59 Members).

Trevor Nunn is to direct a cast including Rob Brydon, Nigel Harman and Ashley Jensen in Alan Ayckbourn's A Chorus of Disapproval opening at the Harold Pinter Theatre later this year. Joining the trio on stage will be Teresa Banham, Daisy Beaumont, Georgia Brown, Rob Compton, Matthew Cottle and Steven Edis, who is also the show's Musical Director. The production runs September 17, 2012 - January 5, 2013, with an opening night scheduled for September 27, 2012.
