Full Cast Announced For THE PRINCE at Southwark Playhouse

Metal Rabbit productions has announced full casting for The Prince which will premiere at Southwark Playhouse in September 2022. This fascinating and insightful exploration of identity is delighted to have a majority trans cast.

Cast Announced for DMITRY at Marylebone Theatre

Marylebone Theatre has announced the cast for their realisation of an unfinished, visionary work by Friedrich Schiller. Dmitry (based on the peerless dramatist’s incomplete play Demetrius), will launch the bold new venue’s inaugural season and will star The Crown’s Tom Byrne (The Crown, Netflix; Twelfth Night, RSC; Black Mirror, Netflix) in the title role.

Adrian Edmondson Will Play Scrooge in RSC's A CHRISTMAS CAROL

Adrian Edmondson will play Ebenezer Scrooge in the Royal Shakespeare Company's revival of David Edgar's adaptation of Dickens' much-loved classic story A Christmas Carol.  The production, directed by Rachel Kavanaugh, runs in the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, Stratford-upon-Avon between 26 October 2022 – 1 January 2023.

RSC's RICHARD III To Be Screened Nationwide In Cinemas

The Royal Shakespeare Company’s production of Richard III, starring Arthur Hughes, is to be screened to cinemas nationwide. This will be the first time the organisation has broadcast a production to UK cinemas since before the pandemic. 

Two Ukrainian Plays Announced at the Finborough Theatre

In a production commissioned by the Finborough Theatre, Two Ukrainian Plays features Natal'ya Vorozhbit's Take The Rubbish Out, Sasha in a double bill with Neda Nezhdana's monologue Pussycat in Memory of Darkness, pairing Ukraine's leading contemporary playwright together with a Ukrainian playwright making her UK debut.
