Producers Daryl Roth and Hal Luftig have announced today that the hit musical Kinky Boots will donate a portion of all proceeds from tickets sold to the Sunday, June 26th Pride weekend performance to benefit the Our Fund Foundation, which promotes a culture of philanthropy by uniting donors with organizations supporting the LGBT community in Southern Florida, to help the victims and families of the recent Orlando tragedy.

Producers Daryl Roth and Hal Luftig announced today that Alan Mingo Jr. will play 'Lola' in the Tony Award-winning musical Kinky Boots at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre (302 West 45th Street), beginning March 29, 2016. Mingo, who comes to Broadway straight from the Toronto production of Kinky Boots, succeeds Emmy Award-winner Wayne Brady in the role. Brady, who took over the coveted part of 'Lola' from Tony Award-winner (and original star) Billy Porter in November 2015, plays his final performance on March 27, 2016.
TheatreWorks Silicon Valley kicks off its 2015/2016 season with the World Premiere of Triangle, a new musical with music by Curtis Moore, lyrics by Thomas Mizer, and book by Moore, Mizer, and Joshua Scher, originally developed at the company's 2012 New Works Festival. Triangle is directed by Meredith McDonough, with performances now through August 2 at the Lucie Stern Theatre, 1305 Middlefield Road, Palo Alto. Sheldon Harnick the Tony Award-winning lyricist of Fiddler on the Roof will be Hosting the 92Y's presentation of To Life! Celebrating 50 Years of Fiddler on the Roof. The production will run from May 30 to June 1 at the 92Y. Recently Mr. Harnick talked about, and performed (with the cast) a song cut before the show got to Broadway. The song titled 'Get Thee Out' will be included his 92Y presentation.
