TheatreWorks Silicon Valley kicks off its 2015/2016 season with the World Premiere of Triangle, a new musical with music by Curtis Moore, lyrics by Thomas Mizer, and book by Moore, Mizer, and Joshua Scher, originally developed at the company's 2012 New Works Festival. Triangle is directed by Meredith McDonough, with performances now through August 2 at the Lucie Stern Theatre, 1305 Middlefield Road, Palo Alto. Broadway In Chicago is thrilled to announce Kinky Boots, the smash-hit musical that brings together four-time Tony Award-winner Harvey Fierstein (Book) and Grammy Award-winning rock icon Cyndi Lauper (Tony Award-winner for Best Score for Kinky Boots), returns to Chicago for a limited two-week engagement at the Cadillac Palace Theatre (151 West Randolph) tonight, July 14, through July 26, 2015.

Generations around the world have grown up with Fiddler on the Roof and such unforgettable, iconic songs as 'If I Were a Rich Man' and 'Sunrise, Sunset.' But getting to the 'final Fiddler' was a fascinating process, and last night at the 92Y's last presentation of the Lyrics & Lyricists season-lyricist Sheldon Harnick took the 92Y audience inside the creation and history of this cultural landmark. Sheldon Harnick the Tony Award-winning lyricist of Fiddler on the Roof will be Hosting the 92Y's presentation of To Life! Celebrating 50 Years of Fiddler on the Roof. The production will run from May 30 to June 1 at the 92Y.  Recently Mr. Harnick talked about, and performed (with the cast) a song cut before the show got to Broadway. The song titled 'Get Thee Out' will be included his 92Y presentation.

First-time Broadway composer Cyndi Lauper, who first conquered the music charts back in the 1980s, recently sat down to talk about her Kinky Boots experience and to share the show's impact on her own life - which provided much of her inspiration as she approached the project.
