BWW Blog: Karl Kenzler of YOU CAN'T TAKE IT WITH YOU - Serenading Rose
by Guest Blogger: Karl Kenzler
- Jan 29, 2015
Doing a big play like YOU CAN'T TAKE IT WITH YOU is a lot like doing a musical. Large choreographed sections, lots of entrances and exits - we even have dance numbers and xylophone solos. So, it shouldn't surprise you that our cast loves to sing! Just last week, stage management had to scold us in the middle of act two. Apparently, our impromptu greenroom rendition of Funkytown was so loud it could be heard stage right. The exact quote was, "Seriously, guys, I love you. But it's just too loud." Anyway, I hope you enjoy this short film in which the cast serenades Rose Byrne with our arrangement of the Hall & Oates classic, Sara Smile.
