Nashville's Artist's Cooperative Theatre 1 (ACT 1) will kick off its 29th season this fall with a production of Delia Ephron and Nora Ephron's Love, Loss and What I Wore, playing the iconic Darkhorse Theater October 6-21. The five plays and their directors, which make up the new season, were revealed to the opening night audience of ACT 1's 2016-17 season closing production of Reefer Madness the Musical, which runs through June 24.

The Old Globe's revival of Steve Martin's clever and crowd-pleasing comedy hit Picasso at the Lapin Agile is playing February 4 - March 12, 2017, on the Donald and Darlene Shiley Stage in the Old Globe Theatre, part of the Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. In partnership with Balboa Park institutions, local artists, and scientists, the run of the production will feature a number of special events that explore and engage with the play's legendary figures, Pablo Picasso and Albert Einstein, and amplify the intersection of art and science found onstage.

The Cleveland Play House opened its 100th season in a lavish and theatrically exciting way. An invitation only group of CPH financial supporters, politicians, and theatre enthusiasts, draped in tuxedos and high fashioned gowns, entered the beautiful Allen theatre lobby to have their pictures taken with the 2015 Best Regional Theatre Tony Award statue. Guests were then escorted into the inner lobby where a cocktail party was in full swing.
