The Bridge Project is currently in its second season with As You Like It opening on January 26th followed by The Tempest on February 25th at the Brooklyn Academy of Music's Harvey Theater (651 Fulton Street).

Season Two of The Bridge Project begins tomorrow, January 12, with a new production of AS YOU LIKE IT at the BAM Harvey Theatre, directed by Sam Mendes. Company members - and husband & wife - Christian Camargo & Juliet Rylance play opposite each other as Orlando & Rosalind.

I suppose the cocktail conversation among certain factions of the Off-Broadway community this summer will be centered around whether the ending of Lila Rose Kaplan's Wildflower a) thoroughly ruined the play, b) logically brought all the play's diverse pieces together or c) was just another example of the evening's well-intentioned flaws. LAByrinth Theater Company (John Ortiz, Artistic Director; Philip Seymour Hoffman, Co-Artistic Director; John Gould Rubin, Co-Artistic & Executive Director) will present a one-night-only Benefit event featuring short plays and a dance party on June 16, 2009 at St. Paul's Hall (Columbus Avenue at 59th Street).
