Syfy Picks Up TREMORS to Pilot; Kevin Bacon to Reprise Original Film Role

SYFY announced today that TREMORS, starring Kevin Bacon reprising his original role from the 1990 film of the same name, has been ordered to pilot. From Universal Cable Productions, the drama was written by Andrew Miller ('The Secret Circle'), who will also serve as showrunner and executive producer along with Bacon and David Schiff (“Southpaw”) in association with Blumhouse Television.

FOX News Channel's (FNC) Megyn Kelly will conduct her first sit-down interview with Republican presidential candidate and frontrunner Donald Trump since the August 2015 presidential debate. The interview will take place in New York and air on the upcoming Fox Broadcasting (FOX) special, “MEGYN KELLY presents” on Tuesday, May 17 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT). Extended portions of the sit-down will air on “The Kelly File” (9:00-10:00 PM/ET) on FNC beginning Wednesday, May 18th.
FOX News to Launch New Specials Division

FOX News will launch a new centralized long-form specials unit, announced Roger Ailes, Chairman and CEO of FOX News. Effective immediately, Michael Clemente will transition from his current position managing news to overseeing this new division as Executive Vice President of News Specials. Jay Wallace will be promoted to Executive Vice President of News and Editorial. Both Clemente and Wallace will report directly to Ailes. FOX News' current structure consists of two divisions of news and programming, with the latter run by Senior Executive Vice President, Bill Shine, who also oversees FOX Business Network (FBN), and reports to Ailes. The new specials unit now creates a third organizational division.
