Santa Fe Playhouse Honors Trustees At THE PARTY OF THE CENTURY GALA, November 5

Actor, director, producer, and educator Kent Kirkpatrick, and business strategist Erin Bunkely, are the gala honorees at Santa Fe Playhouse's Party of the Century on Saturday, November 5, at La Fonda on the Plaza. Kirkpatrick has served as chair of the Playhouse's Board of Trustees since 2015. He is responsible for shepherding the Playhouse through a time of great transformation and changes in leadership and structure. 

Santa Fe Playhouse Celebrates Centennial with Masquerade Gala

Time travel is the theme of the evening at Santa Fe Playhouse's Party of the Century, celebrating its centennial season. The masquerade gala takes place on Saturday, November 5, at La Fonda on the Plaza (100 E. San Francisco St.). Guests are invited to dress up as their favorite theater persona from the last 100 years, dine on classic New Mexican cuisine, and become a part of the fabric of live theater.

Lionsgate Nabs Rights to Horror Comedy HELLBENDERS

Lionsgate has acquired JT Petty's horror comedy for North America and select foreign territories. Lionsgate plans a North American theatrical release for the movie with the release date to be announced shortly. "Hellbenders" stars Clancy Brown, Clifton Collins Jr., Andre Royo, Robyn Rikoon, Macon Blair and Dan Folger. The film was produced by Jon Denny, Lawrence Mattis, David Moscow, Mark Pederson and Aldey Sanchez. Circle of Confusion and OffHollywood Pictures produced the film in association with Ambush Entertainment. "Hellbenders" was shot in digital 3D.

A play as timeless as the Greek tragedies on which it is modeled, A View from the Bridge is the story of a Brooklyn longshoreman whose love for his niece turns destructive. Eddie Carbone (John Carroll Lynch, 'Fargo' and 'The Drew Carey Show') lives in the Red Hook section of Brooklyn with his wife Beatrice (Amy Van Nostrand, Six Degrees of Separation) and her orphaned niece Catherine (Robyn Rikoon, 2008 graduate of the North Carolina School of the Arts), whom they have brought up as their own daughter.
