Tell us a bit about Avalon.

AVALON will be going to the Fringe to work shop it and begin its journey. It is an original imagining where King Arthur ( Sean Cronin, Fantastic Beasts, Mission Impossible Rogue Nation) and Natalie Wood meet on Avalon. It begins as a hilarious roller coaster ride...where Arthur seems like an agoraphobic crazy guy and she seems to be a young daft amnesiac,as the play progresses and their true characters come out we discover their identities...

They must help one another reconcile their sins and learn to forgive in order to move on ..
What sets it apart from other shows at the Fringe?
It's an absolutely original piece of art and an incredible play for an actor, as their are so many colors and layers...for both Arthur and Natalie.
Where might we recognise you from?
You may recognize me from Blue, out at theatres, Itunes and Amazon an indie film where I play a young woman, Pearl Murphy, in love with a boy with blue skin. I am also taking care of my two young sisters and dealing with an abusive Dad played by the wonderful Kenny Johnson ( Sons of Anarchy, Bates Motel) I also star in the thriller out this Fall, Coffin2 and am in the Last Rampage with Heather Graham and Robert Patrick.
Who would you recommend comes to see Avalon?
I'd recommend anyone who is interested in the Arthur myth and legend and in Natalie Wood ..her life beyond her tragic end and her stardom which is addressed but also we get to the heart of who they are underneath the Star and the King. There are universal themes that I think any audience would enjoy...it has energy and depth, history... something for everyone all ages.
Are there any other shows you're hoping to catch at the festival?
I am going to see as many shows as I am able to while there... it's an exciting place for theatre...my friend Julian Sands said...have an adventure and see everything you possibly can!
I'm really excited, as I've not been there before.
