Novato Theater Company brings on that risque array of puppets and people in the Tony Award-winning musical comedy, Avenue Q. Veteran director Carl Jordan, an SFBATCC award-winner, helms the show, with music and lyrics by Robert Lopez and Jeff Marx, and book by Jeff Whitty. Music director is Monica Norcia. Avenue Q runs October 10 through November 9 at the NTC Playhouse, 5420 Nave Drive in Novato.

HE BOOK OF MORMON, winner of nine Tony Awards, including Best Musical, is pleased to announce a lottery ticket policy for the National Tour, which begins Tuesday, September 23 at Heinz Hall in Pittsburgh, PA and plays a limited two week engagement through Sunday, October 5, 2014. In Pittsburgh, the production will conduct a pre-show lottery at the Box Office at Theater Square, 655 Penn Avenue, making a limited number of tickets available at $25 per ticket.

On Friday, September 19, TheatreWorks New Milford will premiere the Award-winning musical comedy, AVENUE Q, with Book by Jeff Whitty and Music & Lyrics by Robert Lopez and Jeff Marx. The curtain rises at 8:00 p.m. for a five-week run.

During Tuesday's THE STORY OF FROZEN: MAKING A DISNEY ANIMATED CLASSIC, the House of Mouse announced that in addition to the upcoming sing-a-long DVD and FROZEN: ON ICE, the entire FROZEN cast of characters will be brought back together for a short film, complete with a new song. In an interview with TVGuide.com, FROZEN producer Peter Del Vecho revealed more details about ABC's upcoming 'STORY OF FROZEN' behind-the-scenes special, set to air next Tuesday, September 2. He also confirmed plans for the upcoming Broadway musical adaptation of the film as the 'next logical step' for the FROZEN universe.

Happy Birthday, Andrew Rannells! Rannells played Bob Gaudio in the First National Tour of Jersey Boys. In January 2009, he reprised the role of Gaudio in the musical's Broadway production. Rannells originated the role of Elder Price in The Book of Mormon, a musical written by South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone and Avenue Q composer Robert Lopez. For his performance, he was nominated for the Tony Award for Best Leading Actor in a Musical. His last performance was June 10, 2012. He will soon play Bryan Buckley in Ryan Murphy's new television series The New Normal on NBC.
