Broadway's BOOK OF MORMON Welcomes Newest Elders Gavin Creel and Christopher John O'Neill Tonight

The Tony-winning musical BOOK OF MORMON said farewell to its most recent Elder Price and Elder Cuningham, Ben Platt and Nic Rouleau respectively, on January 4. Broadway favorite Gavin Creel, who has portrayed the role of Kevin Price on both the BOM national tour and in the London production, steps in as the egocentric missionary, beginning tonight, January 6th. Joining him as everyone's favorite sidekick will be Christopher John O'Neill.

Christopher John O'Neill has just announced via Twitter that he will soon join the Broadway company of The Book of Mormon. O'Neill, who previously played role in the national tour, will join the cast on January 6- the same night as Gavin Creel, who will play Elder Price.
THE BOOK OF MORMON Announces Lottery Policy for Run at Kravis Center

THE BOOK OF MORMON, winner of nine Tony Awards including Best Musical, has announced a lottery ticket policy for the National Tour, which begins December 16 at the Raymond F. Kravis Center in West Palm Beach and plays a limited engagement through December 21. The show is sold out; however, in West Palm Beach the production will conduct a pre-show lottery at the box office, making a limited number of tickets available at $25 apiece.
FROZEN Soundtrack Ranked No. 1 Top Selling Album On The 2014 Year-End Billboard 200 Album Chart

Today, the Frozen soundtrack from Walt Disney Records was ranked the No. 1 best-selling album on the 2014 year-end Billboard 200 chart, for the period November 24, 2013 to November 16, 2014. It is the first soundtrack to reach No. 1 on the year-end chart since Titanic in 1998 and is the first Disney soundtrack to top the chart since Mary Poppins in 1965.

Gavin Creel, 2014 Best Actor in a Musical Olivier Award-winner for his performance as Elder Price in the London production of The Book of Mormon, will join the Broadway company as Elder Price on Tuesday, January 6. Creel also created the role of Elder Price on the US First National Tour. Nic Rouleau, the current Elder Price on Broadway, will play his final performance on Sunday, January 4, before joining the London company of The Book of Mormon, where he begins performances as Elder Price on Monday, February 2.

Nashville has been blessed this week with the national touring production of The Book of Mormon. Since storming onto Broadway in 2011 and walking away with eleven Tony awards that season, The Book of Mormon has crossed from being a Broadway phenomenon to becoming a pop culture staple. If you ask anyone, chances are pretty good that they've at least heard of The Book of Mormon musical.
