Off-Broadway's Atlantic Theater Company announced its 2016-17 season today, comprised of six production by award-winning composers and playwrights.

The Vagabond Players has announced its historic 101st  consecutive season for 2016-17.  The Vagabonds first opened in 1916 as a  part of the Little Theatre Movement that was sweeping the country at the  time. Whereas most of those theatres eventually closed or went dark for  several seasons, The Vagabonds has produced a season for 101 consecutive  years earning it the title:

?The Lakewood Playhouse is proud to present the FINAL SHOW of our 77th SEASON: The South Sound debut of the Tony Award-Winning Musical celebrating its First Decade on Broadway - AVENUE "Q"! with Music & Lyrics by Robert Lopez & Jeff Marx and a Book by Jeff Whitty Michael Frayn!  This production will also mark the conclusion of our year-long celebration of the 50th ANNIVERSARY of the very building we do all of our Productions in - THE LAKEWOOD PLAYHOUSE THEATRE!  From TAMING of the SHREW in its first year to AVENUE Q at the end of this season, we will have presented over 300 Productions at this venue that was first built for us in 1965 by the Lakewood Arts Foundation.

The just-released book features classic Broadway poster art and never-before-published preliminary posters

Online bidding is now open on 13 auction lots of custom autographed prints, celebrating the work of SpotCo, one of Broadway's leading advertising agencies. Each print features the final poster art of a show along with three rare, never-before-published preliminary posters.

Following five years in the West End, sell-out runs worldwide and a smash hit tour last year (packed with mischief, bad behaviour and political incorrectness) AVENUE Q comes to Exeter Northcott Theatre at the end of May.

Back by popular demand, THE BOOK OF MORMON, which played a recordbreaking and sold out week long run in 2014 returns to East Lansing for a limited engagement June 14-19, 2016 at Wharton Center's Cobb Great Hall.

THE BOOK OF MORMON, winner of nine Tony Awards including Best Musical, returns to Minneapolis for a limited run May 10-29 at Hennepin Theatre Trust's historic Orpheum Theatre (910 Hennepin Ave.) as part of the Bank of America Broadway on Hennepin Season. The production in Minneapolis is pleased to announce a pre-show ticket lottery, making a limited number of tickets available for $25 each, cash only, at the Orpheum Theater Box Office.

Back by popular demand, THE BOOK OF MORMON, which played a record breaking one week run in 2015 returns to Winnipeg for a limited engagement September 27 - October 2 at the Centennial Concert Hall.

New tickets have been released for the Australian premiere of The Book of Mormon at Melbourne's Princess Theatre. Due to popular demand the award-winning musical written by South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone and Avenue Q and Frozen co-creator Robert Lopez is now booking until 9 April 2017.

The Actors Fund recognized its 2016 Medal of Honor recipients at its annual gala, last night, April 25, 2016 (6pm) at the Marriott Marquis. Honorees included actor and producer Michael Douglas, producer and singer/songwriter Emilio and Gloria Estefan, NBC Entertainment Chairman Robert Greenblatt, American prima ballerina Cynthia Gregory, and director and choreographer Casey Nicholaw.
