WaterTower Theatre and Stage West to Present RED HOT PATRIOT: THE KICK-ASS WIT OF MOLLY IVINS, 8/18-9/29

WaterTower Theatre Producing Artistic Director Terry Martin has announced the co-production of Red Hot Patriot: the Kick-Ass Wit of Molly Ivins with Stage West, running August 18 -September 29, 2013 in the Studio Theatre at the Addison Theatre Centre. Georgia Clinton reprises her performance as the well-known Texas journalist Molly Ivins.

New City Stage Company opened the Philadelphia of 'RFK' by Jack Holmes in Philadelphia in October 2012 and then extended the show into November after 18 straight sold-out houses. This hit version of the play will receive 2 more productions by New City Stage in 2013, including one in Washington, D.C., which opens tonight at the award-winning Studio Theatre.

National Geographic Channel (@NatGeoChannel) today announced that up-and-coming actor Will Rothhaar (@Poetiqrothhaar) has been cast as the volatile former Marine and assassin Lee Harvey Oswald in the upcoming two-hour original factual drama Killing Kennedy by Scott Free Productions. Rothhaar is the final of the four major players in the film to be announced, joining Rob Lowe (John F. Kennedy), Ginnifer Goodwin (Jacqueline Kennedy) and Michelle Trachtenberg (Marina Oswald).

An adaptation of the award-winning (American Library Association Award, 1995 Nonfiction Book of the Year; Robert F. Kennedy Book Award) memoir of the same name, authored by Dr. Melba Pattillo Beals, this newly produced one-woman performance comes to The Balch Street Theatre, 220 South Balch Street, Akron, OH, 44302 for two public performances on January 17 and 18, 2013 at 7:30pm.
