The Future Has Arrived! BroadwayWorld.com Launches 'First to Market' App on New Apple TV

BroadwayWorld.com, the largest theatre web site and live entertainment platform, is excited to announce the release of the site's Apple TV App, joining the launch of Apple's new 'future of television' product release as the first, and only App devoted to all things theatrical. The App is available today, in the new Apple TV App Store.

BroadwayWorld.com Will Be at This Year's BC/EFA Flea Market, Will You?

CEO Robert Diamond and everyone at BroadwayWorld.com are excited to announce that this year WE'LL BE BACK at the BC/EFA Flea Market on Sunday, September 27 from 10am to 7pm. We haven't had a booth in a few years, as schedules prohibited us from participating - but, we have continued to be staunch supporters of BC/EFA, raising funds for them in other ways.

As BroadwayWorld announced just last week, BroadwayWorld's longtime TV host, Richard Ridge married his partner of 37 years, Preston Ridge in a small and private ceremony on Wednesday morning. The mission of The Theatre Museum is to preserve, protect, and perpetuate the legacy of the theatre. It is the first and only chartered non profit museum dedicated to the history of Theatre. Since 1995 The Awards for Excellence have recognized individuals and organizations for their contribution to theater arts, education, theater history and preservation.

UnsungMusicalsCo. (UMC) will launch its 2014 developmental reading series at The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts with a special presentation of Peggy-Ann, the hit 1926 musical comedy with a book by Tony Award winner Herbert Fields (Annie Get Your Gun) and a score by the legendary songwriting team of Richard Rodgers & Lorenz Hart (Pal Joey, On Your Toes). The reading, directed by Ben West (Unsung Carolyn Leigh, The Fig Leaves Are Falling, At Home Abroad), will be held Thursday, May 22 at 2:30 PM in the Bruno Walter Auditorium.
