This extremely limited engagement of five performances will be presented as part of the York's New2NY series (which stages new musical works in concert style with 'book-in-hand' and minimal props and costumes) from January 15th through January 17th, 2010.

The New York Times has revealed that the York Theater's production of ENTER LAUGHING, based on the semi-autobiographical novel by Carl Rainer about a young actor managing his life and women, that ran off-Broadway last season will head to the Great White Way in the 2010 - 2011 season. No theater has been booked.

IMAGILAND PRODUCTIONS has announced the new web mini-series 'WIENER & WIENER' premiering Wednesday, October 14th, 2009 on www.wienerandwiener.com. 'WIENER & WIENER' will air new episodes twice a month, every other 'Wiener Wednesday', through February 2010. The series will star Rock of Ages' Katherine Tokarz.

Due to popular demand, the hit song "I'm a Believer" has been added to the smash Broadway musical, SHREK THE MUSICAL®. Since the musical opened on Broadway last year, an instrumental version of the classic 1960s song was played as patrons left the theatre. Now, beginning with the performance on Friday, October 2nd, the entire company will perform "I'm a Believer."

Performances began January 21st, with an official opening night that was celebrated on January 29th. The return engagement was scheduled to run until March 8th only, but today's New York Times reports that the show has extended through March 20.

Currently in previews, Lincoln Center Theater production of the new musical HAPPINESS will open at the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater on Monday, March 30 at 6:45pm. HAPPINESS, which has a book by John Weidman, music by Scott Frankel, lyrics by Michael Korie and direction and choreography by Susan Stroman, features Fred Applegate.
