ROCK OF AGES' Katherine Tokarz to be Featured in 'Wiener & Wiener' Web Mini-Series

IMAGILAND PRODUCTIONS has announced the new web mini-series "WIENER & WIENER" premiering Wednesday, October 14th, 2009 on www.wienerandwiener.com. "WIENER & WIENER" will air new episodes twice a month, every other "Wiener Wednesday", through February 2010. The series will star Rock of Ages' Katherine Tokarz.

Meet Peter Wiener, a somewhat ordinary, mostly awkward New Yorker living with his borderline alcoholic, underachieving roommate, Oscar. "WIENER & WIENER" weaves the tale of this unlikely pair through their trials and tribulations living in the city that never sleeps. Tune in to meet Brigitte, Peter's fashion designer girlfriend; Harriet, the landlord stuck in the 1950's; Sophie, Peter's best friend and homeless Real Estate agent; and Marilyn, Oscar's girlfriend and Broadway star of Breakfast @ Tiffany's. Oh, did we forget to mention... Oscar is a hot dog. Written and directed by Dante Russo, "WIENER & WIENER" features over seventy actors including Broadway favorites and newcomers, photography by Dirty Sugar Photography, and costumes from Lower East Side's Hillary Flowers Boutique. Broadway's Katherine Tokarz (Rock of Ages, White Christmas) leads the ensemble cast featuring Liz Fye ("Kings", "One Life to Live"), SABRINA JACOB, MARJORIE LEWIT, Patrick O'Neill ("The Producers", Julie Taymor's "Across the Universe"), KELLY ROSS, and Dante Russo (National Tour Disney's High School Musical). Extraordinary was awarded "Outstanding Music & Lyrics" at The 2005 New York International Fringe Festival and was recently produced at Joe's Pub at The Public Theater.
