The Lower East Side Film Festival directors are proud to announce the festival's 9th annual opening and closing night films along with the complete festival schedule.
The Broadway community will come together on Monday, May 14 at NYC's Stage 48 for Heels on Wheels, A Homecoming Celebration to Benefit Jerad Bortz and Steven Skeels, to support Wicked's Bortz and husband Skeels following a tragic car accident in early February.
Broadway star Daniel Quadrino (Newsies, Wicked- Broadway), took to the studio to record original 'WHERE TO BEGIN' releasing December 1st on iTunes, Spotify, Apple Music, and anywhere digital music is available.
Once a year, Celebrity Make Up Artist Rob Harmon and friends hold a cabaret-style benefit to raise money for Trinity Place, a shelter for GLBTQ Youth. Trinity is an amazing grassroots organization that provides shelter to New York's GLBTQ teenage community who have been displaced from their homes and families. Over the past several years this humble "Cabaret" show has become so successful that it has produced more than half the church's annual budget.
The event on Sunday night featured appearances by Shoshana Bean (Wicked), Joey Taranto (Rock of Ages), Carrie Manolakos (Wicked), Donna Vivino (Wicked), Scott Alan, Neil Davis, Breedlove, SIRPAUL, Joe Hubrich (Housewives of Beverly Hills), Felicia Ricci (Wicked), Libby Servais (Wicked) and was hosted by Bianca Del Rio
