Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story, live theatre's wildly popular rock 'n' roll musical, is about to explode onto Sierra Repertory Theatre's East Sonora stage.

The Ocean Professional Theatre Company have announced their 2013 season. Tickets are now onsale for S'Wonderful, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Anything Goes, Cats, and much more!

Buddy - The Buddy Holly Story plays the Morrison Center, June 7 at 8 p.m. and June 8 at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. On February 3rd, 1959, the man who changed the face of popular music tragically died in a plane crash aged 22. Now, Buddy - The Buddy Holly Story tells the story of the three years in which he became the world's top recording artist with a show that features over 20 of Buddy Holly's greatest hits including 'Peggy Sue', 'That'll Be The Day', 'Oh Boy', 'Not Fade Away', 'Everyday', 'Rave On','Maybe Baby', 'Raining In My Heart', Ritchie Valens' 'La Bamba', and the Big Bopper's 'Chantilly Lace'.

Pittsburgh CLO is one of the few regional theaters selected by Disney to produce The Little Mermaid. From the depths of the sea to the shores of America, this rockin' season will also feature Buddy - The Buddy Holly Story, a toe-tapping trip to the heart of 1950s rock and roll with the man, the music and the legend. This year, through special arrangement with The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust, Pittsburgh CLO Season Ticket Buyers will enjoy priority seating to Disney's The Lion King, part of the PNC Broadway Across America series. In addition to these spectacular headliners, CLO's 2013 season will also feature dynamic new productions of 42nd Street, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers and Kopit & Yeston's Phantom.

Making his debut at the club, Mr. Lopez will perform his classic hits such as "La Bamba," "If I Had A Hammer," "Lemon Tree," and "America," in addition to a series of classic pop standards by Rodgers & Hart, Irving Berlin and Johnny Mercer from his new CD "Into The Future."

The Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts (CCPA) commemorates its 20th anniversary in the 2012-2013 Season. Engelbert Humperdinck, who performed in the CCPAs first season, returns to kick-start the theaters 2012-2013 Season with concerts on August 18 and 19.

Walnut Street Theatre concludes its landmark 203rd season with an all-new production of Broadway's BUDDY: THE Buddy Holly STORY. Directed and choreographed by Casey Hushion, the show opens tonight, May 23rd, and runs through July 15th on the WST Mainstage. Christopher Sutton (Buddy), says this is the first time in the history of the Walnut Street Theatre that the same actor has played the same role twice. Sutton plays opposite his wife Lyn Philistine as Maria Elena. See photos of the couple and the rest of the cast on stage below!

The Ogunquit Playhouse, America's Foremost Summer Theatre, is set to celebrate its 80th Anniversary season today, May 23 to October 21, 2012. The lineup offers a mix of Broadway's most enduring musical classics, along with some of the hottest new shows on stage today.
