Previews for the New York premiere of Latin History for Morons begin tonight, February 24, at The Public Theater.

Maestro Luke Frazier and The American Pops Orchestra - Washington, DC's innovative hometown orchestra - will continue their all-star 2016-2017 season with a new take on the classic tale  Cinderella: A Magical, Musical Tale on Saturday, March 11 at 2:00 PM at Live! at 10th and G (First Congregational UCC, 945 G Street NW, WDC 20001).

Ridgefield Magazine Broadway and Cabaret Series and Ingersoll Auto of Danbury World Music Series present an evening with the legendary Rita Moreno today, February 18 at 8 p.m.  Moreno will perform her favorite songs from Broadway, the Great American Songbook and more. 

Maestro Luke Frazier and The American Pops Orchestra - Washington, DC's innovative hometown orchestra - will continue their lunchtime concert series "THIRD THURSDAYS" to highlight the unique musical personalities and special talents of the members of their acclaimed ensemble at Live! at 10th and G (First Congregational, UCC Washington - 945 G Street NW, Washington, DC 20001) - this Thursday, February 16 at 12:15 PM.

Previews for the New York premiere of Latin History for Morons will begin on Friday, February 24 at The Public Theater.

George Street Playhouse has announced that its Annual Gala Benefit - a one-of-a-kind evening featuring stars of Broadway, film and television - will take place Sunday, April 2, 2017, 5 pm, at The Heldrich Hotel in New Brunswick. This year, George Street Playhouse honors one of its own as David Saint will receive the Arthur Laurents Award for Distinguished Artistic Achievement in celebration of his 20th season as the Playhouse's Artistic Director.

On February 21st and 22nd, TV star Juan Pablo Di Pace will take the stage at New York's 54 Below with a his new show, highlighting his song and dance skills, so far seen in London and Madrid.

Actors Co-op (Ovation Award-Winner 2014 Best Intimate Theatre Musical for 110 in the Shade) presents the third show in its celebratory 25th Silver Anniversary season with the Los Angeles intimate theatre premiere of 33 VARIATIONS by Moisés Kaufman, choreography by Michelle Parrish and directed by Thomas James O'Leary (Next to Normal).  33 VARIATIONS will preview on Thursday, February 9 at 8pm and will open on Friday, February 10 at 8pm and run through Sunday, March 19 at the Actors Co-op David Schall Theatre, 1760 N. Gower St. (on the campus of the First Presbyterian Church of Hollywood) in Hollywood.

Creative Cauldron presents the Tony-Award Nominated Musical Blues in the Night, directed by Creative Cauldron's Artistic Associate, Matt Conner. Set in a rundown hotel in Chicago 1938, Blues in the Night was conceived and originally directed by Sheldon Epps.

Rita Moreno's February 18, 2017 performance at The Ridgefield Playhouse is being postponed due to a scheduling conflict.  A new date has not yet been scheduled.

The National Labor Relations Board confirmed today Telemundo performers will decide whether to join SAG-AFTRA in an historic vote that could extend union protections to thousands of Spanish-speaking performers in the coming years.

Emmy Award-winning actress, Sally Struthers, will return to the role of 'Louise Seger' in North Carolina Theatre's production of Always...Patsy Cline. Carter Calvert (Broadway: It Ain't Nothin' But the Blues) will star in the title role.

North Carolina Theatre will be presenting Always...Patsy Cline from January 20th-29th at A.J. Fletcher Opera Theater. I recently got to speak with the two stars of this production Carter Calvert and Two-Time Emmy Winner Sally Struthers.
