The 4th Annual Uptown Charlotte Jazz Fest returns to the Queen City with the sounds and rhythms of some of the world's greatest jazz performers today, June 21-22, 2013, at the Time Warner Cable Uptown Ampitheatre (TWCUA). Following up a nearly sold-out 3rd year with record attendance, the festival has truly become a 'destination event' for true jazz enthusiasts, attracting attendees all along the Southeast including Georgia, Virginia, North Carolina and South Carolina.

One World Theatre, Austin's premiere music venue known presenting diverse music and cultural arts in an up close and personal setting has announced its 2013 Summer Season. Highlights include top singer-songwriters like Dar Williams and Jimmy Webb, contemporary jazz greats like Euge Groove and Earl Klugh, Latin music icons like Sergio Mendes and Arturo Sandoval and local favorites like Walking Woody's Road featuring Jimmy LaFave, Eliza Gilkyson, Slaid Cleaves and Sam Baker. One World Theatre will also present GRAMMY Award winning trumpeter, Chris Botti at Riverbend Centre.

Producers of the 4th Annual Uptown Charlotte Jazz Fest have announced Jazz/R&B musician and instrumentalist, Brian Culbertson, will perform during the two-night festival on Friday, June 21. Culbertson joins BWB, a jazz band named after the three members: guitarist Norman Brown, saxophonist Kirk Whalum and trumpeter Rick Braun. More artists will be announced in the near future.

December 4th at 7:30 pm, in PlayhouseSquare's Palace Theatre, saxman extraordinaire Koz will be joined by fellow smooth jazz artists: Rick Braun (trumpet), Jonathan Butler (singer/songwriter/guitarist) and Candy Dulfer (alto sax). This talent-times-four is set to entertain with a catalog of their individual hits, plus songs of the season (and maybe a few surprise musical collaborations!).
