A brand new production of JERRY SPRINGER - THE OPERA is coming to Manchester in August 2019 - almost 15 years since the show was last performed in the UK.

Producing Artistic Director Daniel Elihu Kramer has chosen to begin the season with the New York Drama Critics' Circle Best Play Winner The Night Alive, written by Irish playwright Conor McPherson, as a tribute to CTC's co-founder, Vincent Dowling, who served as Artistic Director of Dublin's Abbey Theatre in the late 80s, and who helmed CTC from its founding until 1995.

Co-founded by Vincent Dowling and H. Newman Marsh in 1990 with the belief that every town should have a professional theatre, Chester Theatre Company (formerly The Miniature Theatre of Chester) prepares to celebrate its landmark 30th Season with four works, each a New England Premiere. 

Broadway and concert star Daniel Reichard returned to his 52nd Street roots, where he originated the role of Bob Gaudio at the August Wilson Theatre in the Original Broadway Cast of JERSEY BOYS, with his eleventh New York City holiday show.

Paul Taylor-Mills is delighted to announce MT Fest UK, a two-week festival of new musical theatre at The Other Palace from Monday 11 to Saturday 23 February 2019. It was announced today that Drag Superstar Jonny Woo (Jonny Woo's Un-Royal Variety Performance) and Olivier Award winning composer, Richard Thomas (Jerry Springer: The Opera, Anna Nicole) will present All Star Brexit Cabaret for a one-off, special performance following a critically-acclaimed, sell-out run at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. The sequin spangled smash hit show will make its London premiere at the London Coliseum on Monday 17th December. Tickets can be found at londoncoliseum.org

Emmy Award winner Sally Struthers and Broadway & TV favorite Joyce Reehling headline Love, Loss, and What I Wore at Judson Theatre Company (Morgan Sills, Executive Producer and Daniel Haley, Artistic Director). Struthers is best known for her roles on All in the Family and  Gilmore Girls. Reehling is a beloved veteran of stage and television (Fifth of July, Law & Order). Love, Loss, and What I Wore opens Today, October 18 at 7:00 pm and runs through Sunday, October 21 at the Hannah Center Theatre (on the campus of The O'Neal School, 3300 Airport Road, Southern Pines, NC 28387).  Additional casting will be announced at a later date.

The Un-Royal Variety was originally intended just to be a showcase for the best of my contemporaries. To put on a big show, in a wonderful venue, to which everyone would want to come, simply because of the line-up.

The New Group has just announced complete casting and the design team for Clueless, The Musical by Amy Heckerling.  This world premiere production, with choreography by Kelly Devine, directed by Kristin Hanggi, features Ephie Aardema, Lori Alan, Sara Andreas, Gilbert L. Bailey II, Dove Cameron, Will Connolly, Danielle Marie Gonzalez, Tessa Grady, Talya Groves, Chris Hoch, L'ogan J'ones, Darius Jordan Lee, Justin Mortelliti, Brett Thiele, Dave Thomas Brown and Zurin Villanueva; with Scenic Design by Beowulf Boritt; Costume Design by Amy Clark; Lighting Design by Jason Lyons; Sound Design by Gareth Owen; Projection Design by Darrel Maloney; Music Supervision, Arrangement and Orchestration by Ethan Popp and Music Direction by Matthew Smedal.  Previews begin November 20 in advance of an Official Opening Night on Tuesday, December 11.  A limited Off-Broadway engagement is slated through January 12 at The Pershing Square Signature Center (The Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theatre, 480 West 42nd Street).

ZACH Theatre, in partnership with the Harry Ransom Center, announces a weekend of star-studded events celebrating four-time Tony Award-winning playwright and LGBT activist Terrence McNally. McNally will be in attendance at the events celebrating his 80th birthday and legendary career from November 10 to 12.
