Barrington Stage Company (BSC), the award-winning theatre in downtown Pittsfield, MA, under the leadership of Julianne Boyd Artistic Director and Tristan Wilson Managing Director, has announced casting for Chaim Potok's The Chosen, adapted and directed by Aaron Posner, and Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing, directed by Julianne Boyd at the Boyd-Quinson Mainstage, 30 Union Street, Pittsfield.

Juilliard Drama to Feature GREAT GOD PAN, BURIED CHILD & More in 2013-2014 Season

Juilliard's Drama Division announces the 2013-2014 season of fully-staged productions featuring Juilliard's 43rd group of acting students in their fourth and final year in the drama program at Juilliard. This season's plays include Jeffrey Hatcher's Smash, directed by Victor Pappas; Amy Herzog's The Great God Pan, directed by Maria Mileaf; and Sam Shepard's Buried Child, directed by Daniel Fish. All performances take place in the Stephanie P. McClelland Drama Theater at Juilliard.

Danielle Skraastad to Lead The Old Globe's THE RAINMAKER; Full Cast Announced!

The Old Globe today announced the cast and creative team for the Globe's revival of N. Richard Nash's classic romantic comedyThe Rainmaker. Directed by Maria Mileaf, The Rainmaker will run July 13 - August 11, 2013 on the Donald and Darlene Shiley Stage in the Old Globe Theatre, part of the Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. Preview performances run July 13 - July 17. Opening night is Thursday, July 18 at 8:00 p.m. Tickets can be purchased online at www.TheOldGlobe.org, by phone at (619) 23-GLOBE or by visiting the Box Office at 1363 Old Globe Way in Balboa Park.

Joe Mantegna and Richard Dreyfuss Star in GLENGARRY GLEN ROSS for LATW, Now thru 5/19

L.A. Theatre Works records David Mamet's scathingly funny Pulitzer Prize-winning drama Glengarry Glen Ross, about small-time real estate brokers who vie for the hot leads at a Chicago firm selling shoddy properties. Joe Mantegna reprises his Tony Award-winning role as Richard Roma from the original (1984) Broadway production; Gordon Clapp returns with his Tony-nominated portrayal from the 2005 Broadway revival; and Richard Schiff stars as George Aaronow, the role he played in the most recent, 2012 Broadway production. The L.A. Theatre Works cast also stars Richard Dreyfuss and Bruce Davison.

Glengarry Glen Ross - L.A. Theatre Works records David Mamet's scathingly funny Pulitzer Prize-winning drama about small-time real estate brokers who vie for the hot leads at a Chicago firm selling shoddy properties. Joe Mantegna reprises his Tony Award-winning role as Richard "Ricky" Roma from the original (1984) Broadway production; Gordon Clapp returns with his Tony-nominated portrayal of Dave Moss from the 2005 Broadway revival; and Richard Schiff stars as George Aaronow, the role he played in the most recent, 2012 Broadway production. The L.A. Theatre Works cast also stars Richard Dreyfuss as Shelly Levene, John Getz as James Lingk, Josh Stamberg as John Williamson and Kyle Colerider-Krugh as Baylen. With money, egos and jobs on the line, the cut-throat salesmen will stop at nothing to get their fair share of the American Dream. This gritty story of shifting values in the male-dominated workplace is as potent and exhilarating as ever. All performances will be recorded live in front of an audience (without sets or costumes) to air on L.A.
